Weekly passes are a convenient and affordable option for travelers. The fare for a metropolitan weekly pass is 34 lei and it offers unlimited access for 7 days both in one Zone 1 commune and on routes in Zone 0.
Where can weekly passes be purchased?
- Tursib agencies;
- Street ticket machines at the stations (except for the ticket machines on the green line, the machine at the Airport Terminal station, and the machines in Tursib coaches);
- SibiuBus mobile app;
- Tursib portal.
How are weekly passes validated?
Weekly passes must be validated immediately after boarding the bus.
If the route involves using two or more lines, passengers are asked to validate the weekly pass in each bus they board.
For weekly subscriptions with a QR code purchased through the SibiuBus mobile app, the code must be scanned at the yellow validators on the bus. The QR code should be placed at the bottom of the device, and the message confirming a successful validation is “Have a pleasant journey!
For weekly passes loaded onto the PVC Tursib card or the single-use Tursib card, validation is done by tapping the card on the yellow validator in the bus.
How are weekly passes checked?
Weekly passes are checked by Tursib traffic inspectors, authorized by the Sibiu City Hall.
For weekly subscriptions purchased through the SibiuBus mobile app, the QR code generated by the app will be scanned by traffic inspectors using a control device or can be scanned at the yellow validators on the bus.
If the weekly passes are loaded on the PVC Tursib card or the single-use card, the inspection is done by scanning the card either at the yellow validators in the bus or with the handheld devices used by traffic inspectors.
