30-day travel passes are ideal for travellers who use public transport regularly. The 30-day Păltiniș passes provide locals and tourists with a convenient travel option.

The price of a 30-day Păltiniș nominal pass is 210 lei, and of a non-nominal Păltiniș pass 263 lei, valid for 30 calendar days. It allows the use of an unlimited number of routes during the validity period.

All passes will be loaded either on a card issued and personalised free of charge by Tursib, or on the SibiuBus mobile app.

Please note that 30-day passes purchased via the SibiuBus mobile app are separate from the passes issued on the physical Tursib card and will thus only be available in the app as a QR code, and will NOT be visible on the physical Tursib plastic card.

Where can I purchase a 30-day Păltiniș pass?

• Tursib agencies; 
• The SibiuBus app (only nominal pass);
• Street vending devices at bus stops, except for vending devices on the "Green Line". Only nominal pass;
• Online, on the Tursib website (the 30-day pass will be charged on the Tursib physical plastic card) - only nominal pass.

How many types of Păltiniș 30-day passes (30-day passes) are there?

1. Nominal 30-day Păltiniș pass;
2. Non-nominal 30-day Păltiniș pass.

Nominal 30-day Păltiniș passes can only be loaded on nominal cards, that have been personalised with the holder’s details and can only be used by the nominal pass holder.

Non-nominal 30-day Păltiniș passes can be loaded on non-nominal cards and can be used by several persons, but not at the same time.

How is the Tursib 30-day Păltiniș card issued and charged?

In order to be able to purchase a 30-day Păltiniș pass, passengers must own a Tursib card or have an account in the SibiuBus mobile app.

The Tursib card is issued free of charge at any Tursib agency, upon presentation of an identity card. 

The Tursib card can be charged at the Tursib agencies, the street vending devices or online, on our website.

How do I validate my 30-day Păltiniș pass?

30-day Păltiniș passes need to be validated immediately after boarding the bus.

30-day Păltiniș passes loaded on the Tursib plastic card are validated by bringing the Tursib card close to the yellow validation machine on the bus.

In the case of QR code 30-day Păltiniș passes, purchased via the SibiuBus mobile app, these need to be scanned by using the yellow validation machines located in the bus. The QR code needs to be placed at the bottom of the machine and in case of the successful validation, the following message will appear “Enjoy your trip!”

All passes contain an unlimited number of journeys, so that validating each journey does not affect the validity of the 30-day Păltiniș pass in any way.

How are 30-day passes Păltiniș inspected?

30-day Păltiniș pass inspections are carried out by Tursib traffic inspectors, authorised by the Municipality of Sibiu.

In the case of passes purchased through the SibiuBus mobile app, the inspection is done by the traffic inspectors who scan the QR code generated in the application, by using their control devices, or by scanning the yellow validation machines on the bus.

In the case of 30-day passes loaded on the Tursib plastic card, the control will be carried out in the same way, by approaching the Tursib card to the yellow validation machines or with the help of the control devices used by the traffic inspectors.
