Subscriptions for blood donors are travel titles granted with a 50% discount. These subscriptions are valid for 30 calendar days within the Municipality of Sibiu and allow an unlimited number of trips during the validity period.

The subscriptions are loaded onto a Tursib card, issued and personalized free of charge by Tursib.

If the blood donor already has a Tursib card, the subscription will be loaded onto the existing card.

Who benefits from the donor subscription?

According to the contract for the delegation of the management of public passenger transport services within the territorial area of competence of the Sibiu Metropolitan Transport Intercommunity Development Association, no. 1/23.06.2025, blood donors are entitled to a 50% discounted subscription, valid for 30 calendar days, for each blood donation, based on a Tursib card.

In addition, blood donors benefit from free travel on the day of donation, based on the supporting document.

How is the Tursib donor card issued and loaded?

To purchase the blood donor subscription, passengers must visit a Tursib agency or create an account here and request online loading.

The necessary documents in both situations are:

• Identity card;
• Original certificate from the blood transfusion center (this can be used only once).

Attention! Please mention at the blood transfusion center that you need a certificate for a public transport subscription.

How is the donor subscription validated?

Subscriptions are always validated immediately after boarding the bus.

Validation is done by bringing the Tursib card close to the yellow validators on the buses.

If the route requires the use of two or more routes, we ask passengers to validate the subscription on each bus they board.

All subscriptions allow unlimited trips, so validating on each trip does not affect the subscription's validity in any way.

How is the donor subscription checked?

The subscription checks are carried out by Tursib traffic inspectors, authorized by the Sibiu City Hall.

The control is done by bringing the PVC Tursib card close to either the inspectors' control devices or the yellow devices on the bus.
